The speaking ministry of Ann Davenport and Carolyn Outland is based on Biblical principles and dedicated to the spiritual growth of women. Their testimonies are based on years of ministry and missionary endeavors, having served across the U.S. and in over 20 countries. Believing that challenges produce change, they led a group that smuggled Bibles into a militant Muslim country and prayer-walked even under the threat of arrest. Christ’s heart for the oppressed and poor in spirit led Ann and Carolyn to begin a ministry in the predominantly Buddhist country of Myanmar. (Burma)
Nationally, they have conducted spiritual growth conferences in several states and are in demand as speakers and conference leaders. Internationally, they have spoken at meetings where most of the attendees were unbelievers. Evangelism and discipleship are foundational to their conferences.
Ann and Carolyn have written three books: Overcoming the Ordinary Life: Blessings Beyond Barriers, Jolts & Joys: Bridging Troubled Times and Peace Under Pressure: Sheltered in the Storms.

God's plan for triumph over circumstances is revealed in the book of Ruth. This retreat is based on the Christian book of the same title published by Carolyn and Ann in 2008. Ruth and Naomi's lives were preserved and renewed by their relationships with one another and Jehovah God. Your life, too, can be transformed from sorrow to joy by appropriating God's plan and purpose for living.
